Stance is a rhetorical element of writing, it is our viewpoint we take in the essay and the attitude towards the topic. In this semester’s assignment, we are free to choose our own stance to write about our topic. Only when we have a strong and clear stance can we make our audience understand the purpose of our writing.

Here is the analysis of my stance in my lab report assignment reflection paper.

“My stance is that people live in a noisy environment for a long time causes great harm to people”

I take this stance to convey to the reader the fact that noise is harmful to human beings, and the reader can better understand the theme of my article.
